Q: Can I commission a painting?
A: YES! Commission prices depend on the size and number of animals/items requested. I work only on canvas and with acrylic paint.
To start the commission process please email the following at firstname.lastname@example.org. (Note: While I work from a photograph, the painting will be stylized and whimsical. Please be sure you like this before starting the process.)
-Size, either 12x16, 16x20, or 18x24.
-Photograph, if work is to be a portrait of a specific pet.
-List of animals/items to be included, I will provide images for your approval prior to initiating work. I will also provide initial sketch of composition if piece is not based on an existing photograph.
-Details, word to be included if desired.
-Frame, I will provide frame finish options for your selection. Frame will be additional to cost of art and listed as a line item on invoice.
Once I collect the details, I will send you a quote for review. To commence work, I will send you a Paypal invoice for half the cost of the commission. The second half will be due once the commission is complete. All commission sales are final. I do not accept returns unless the item arrives damaged.
Q: When will my order arrive?
A: We currently use UPS and USPS for shipping orders within the United States. All orders ship within 3-5 business. Below is a breakdown of how each product is sent:
-Original paintings and artwork: UPS ground with tracking
-Cards and prints: USPS First Class Mail
Items ordered together may not be shipped out on the same day, and occasionally items may be temporarily out-of-stock or backordered. You will be alerted in either instance and will be provided an approximate date of shipment. Rest assured any shipping delay will be communicated within 2 business days of your order. Should any other unforeseen delay occur, you will be notified within 7 days of placing your order.
Q: Can I return my order?
A: All paintings, prints, and sale items are final.
If you are not completely satisfied with your card purchase you may return or exchange your item within 7 business days. All merchandise should be returned in it's original condition with the original receipt. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable and the customer must pay shipping fees associated with returning or exchanging an item. Once your return is process we will promptly issue a credit to your credit card. Please contact email@example.com if you have a question regarding a refund or exchange.
We are required by law to collect sales tax on items shipped within the state of California. The items taxable and specific taxable rate is determined by the county where the order is being delivered.
From time to time, we offer customer discounts in the form of promotion codes on our website or with advertising partners. Be sure to enter your code on the shopping cart screen. Only one promotion code may be used per order.
